Bantamweights Renan Barao vs. Cole Escovedo now official for UFC 130

A preliminary-card bantamweight bout between Renan Barao and former WEC featherweight champion Cole Escovedo is now official for this month's UFC 130 event.

MMAjunkie.com first reported the fight this past month, and UFC executives since have made it official.

UFC 130 takes place May 28 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The night's main card, including a title fight between lightweight champ Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard, airs on pay-per-view.
